Well my 357 it toast.
So I bulding a new 383 for my 86 vett
It a 4 bolt main 1 piece Main seal Eagle Rotating assmebly .040 over flat top pistons it should be 10.5 to 1 with .038 heads gasket and 195 Trick flow heads 62cc 202 intke vavle 160 Exhaust valve.
Luntia 60101 Cam .213/.218 duration, 486/494 lift, 112 CL, 108 intake CL.
24# FIC injectors SPL runners Edenbrock High Flo Intake Base, SPL full lenght headers, Magna flow cat back 307 Rear end, 8 Qt oil pan, Through a 700r4 trans 2500 Stall.
On paper it should make 499 TQ @ 2000 thru 2500 RPM 380 H/P at 5000 I wanted a fun street car that can driven every day.

I'm wondering if 24's will be big enough. Also, 1.6 rockers will help as that duration/center line is good for torque but more lift, (within reason), never hurts.
I using 1.6 CC Ultra Magnum Steel full Roller rocker arms.
I looked around and 24# should work fine I t not a 7000 RPM motor so I should not need that high of a fuel flow for 5500 RPM motor.
If not I be buying anouther set of injectors LOL.

why that small of a cam with a 383 and 195 heads?
I pluged the numbers im for the next larger cam 60102 it makes less power with the same motor set up I dont need a 7000 RPM screamer a 5500 max every now and then type motor.
I have to pass Ca smog with it.
And what I read I do you dont have to use a aftermarket I alreay have a chip from the last can should work they say the cam I goning to use can work with the stock tune also.
Until I get a custom made chip.
Besides gives me some more time to see if the 24# injectors will be enough.

Be aware, the non pro versions of these simulators are only good for comparison between different combos;
real world results may vary from predictions
Some are too scared to put their engines on a real dyno to find out what it actually makes ;
preferring to claim the " estimated " results
