Fuel system questions.

Dropped my tank to change out the fuel pump. Thats when I found about an inch of muck in the bottom of the tank. So started pulling down the fuel lines to blow them out and try to rid my fuel system of anything else that may be left. After find some rust spots in the lines that have me nervous I'm left looking for replacements. Found direct replacements at

Cost involved seems a bit much. So started looking at AN fittings. Figured if I'm going to rebuild the fuel system might as well do it right. A search of the forums showed me most of what I'd need. I'm looking for tips from anyone who has already been threw this pain. People stated that the hard line to AN fittings that use soft brass ferrule aren't good. The brand name swagelok was thrown out but I couldn't seem to find the hard line adapters. Also planning on pulling the fuel rails and cleaning them out as well. Been wanting to do the rear exit on the fuel rails. So why not now right? Any further direction you can provide would be great. Thanks
