ninth injector ?'s

i heard that taking off the ninth injector is an easy way to add hp. i was wondering if there are any drawbacks to taking it off.

Don't think it will add any horsepower. It is only active on cold starts. It can be removed, but you will want to re-program your ECM to switch the cold starting characteristics to the other 8 injectors. Net result is probably better cold starting, and maybe improved mileage ( 9th injectors are notorious for leaking).
