I have a 1992 z28 camaro 305 i changed engines I need to put the chip or prom from a 350. I found a computer from a 1989 Iroc 350 camaro. Will the computer from the 1989 work and fit in my 1992 z28 ? Can anyone out there help me with this?? Thanks . Dave

86- 89 interchange
and 90 -92 interchange
In any case there is no difference in the computer ;305 vs 350 for a given year.
The difference is in the tune on the chip

I dont normally recommend the aftermarket chips/proms, but if you have trouble locating a factory chip, the aftermarket may be the way to go. Another option is to contact someone who can burn you a custom chip or chip adapter.
