Re: egr solenoid vacum fitment

maybe it was remove but the vacuum line to the top of the solenoid comes from the front, look at pics.

Re: egr solenoid vacum fitment

If the pic is the opposite side of the EGR solenoid, its an air intake for the solenoid. There should be a clip and a filter that goes on there. The filter keeps dirt from getting into the solenoid when activated. The filter disintegrates after a while and needs to be replaced. I had a bunch of those filters at one time but became brittle from sitting in the package for along time. Still have a bunch of the clips though. In the pic, you can see the clip and filter that's suppose to be on the solenoid.

Re: egr solenoid vacum fitment

Anybody have the part number for the EGR Vacuum Valve, I was at Advanced Auto they couldn't locate it? Sorry didn't mean to hijack this thread, I'll start a new thread and post a pic of I am trying to find.

Re: egr solenoid vacum fitment

Check in autozone under the number in this thread, is for a 93, I believe, but it's for the same engine specs.
