TB Question

So I'm in the middle of a 383, and we decided to bore out the throttle body. Now my concern is the little hole on the right side, up top; the disk covers the hole. However after boring the TB out the hole was enlarged, so my question is if this will cause any problems?

Re: TB Question

Thats a idle air bypass. You may have a high idle unless u make the hole smaller, use a 2part epoxy. Thats what I did.

I don't see a problem unless it allows air to leak past the blades when they are closed.

Is only the source for the small vac tube under drv side of TB
