Hi i have a car that hates PPL... It will start right up but once i or it turns off it won,t start back up for sometime had to get it towed the other day cuz it shut off when i floored it and wouldn't start back up... 89 IROC-Z 5.7 things that have been done Fuel pump,fuel reg,ECM,ICM,TPS,Cap Rotor,Pick up coil,Coil,Wires,Plugs,I have fuel at the rails 42psi i put a test light and i do have pulse at injectors..car doesn't have the power it should when it does run.. one day i changed the ICM and the TPS and it had alot of power but when i shut it off and turned it back on sometime latter it didn't have the power again or hasn't since...ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT.....

 

Could the fuel injectors be flooding the engine?
Are they the originals?
How long does the fuel pressure stay at 42 after you turn the key off?

ok i got a code and its code 12 and thats the ECM... So now what?? now the car will start ans shuts off after a few sec..

 

sounds like injectors better ohm them or start pulling your plugs and look for real wet ones, you will get 3 code 12's when the ecm is going into diagnostic mode.
