Was told these are a direct drop in, 60mm...
Are the stock multech's that size too? I know some of the other Bosch III's have an adapter or modified housing to fit ???

I have a 305, but I can tune the computer, there shouldn't be a problem, correct?

I know a few companies sell rebuilt, but I would just prefer new...

Thanks,

Rafael

Found these (new) even cheaper...
Seems these are EV1's, not the same as the other Bosch III designed that have adapter or case mod to fit stock multech lengths...

Says in ad that they are 74mm in length...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/270715542195...84.m1438.l2649

Anyone?

According to Bosch:

http://www.bosch.com.au/content/lang...linjectors.pdf

They flow 16.4 #/hr at 50.1 psi. This is the 0-280-156-013 injector, same part number listed on the eBay ad.

So they do not flow 24lb?
I would take this as a "no, will not work"?

Cheaper? I don't think so. I bought
my bosch iii's at FIC 2 years ago. I got them for only $150. $288 sounds right for a set of brand new ones. But if they are reman Bosch injectors, and go for over $200, then who ever buys them is getting ripped off.

Don't know, only listed what I found and where. Figured that a Bosch data sheet was a good start as to what they really are. Maybe the data sheet is incorrect, maybe the part number listed in the ad is incorrect.

Note also that the difference between 60 mm (first posted inj's) and 74 mm is over a half inch. Good possibility that the measurements are from two different locations on the injector.

Such as o-ring to o-ring versus top to bottom.

Both sellers said would work with L98 Vette, Camaro or Firebird....
Of course, would need tuning with 5.0 LB9....

I used Southbay Injectors but mine are 36lbs, they do have the 19,22 and 24's in Bosch III, plus they sell reman ones also, my reman 36's have been in the car for a year now no problems at all.

I do see that part number in the ad, but in the data sheet, it refers to ev6, not an ev1...??

I would just prefer to go with new ones....
I can tune my computer and when I upgrade to a 350, use the same injectors...

Re: New Bosch III Injectors.... ?'s
No tune needed. Only mod needed is if you are using a EPROM and you need to change the flow rate by means of Tuner Pro.

Just phone up Jon at Fuel Injector Connection. I talked to him on the phone for about 30-40 minutes before I bought my injectors. He is glad to answer any questions. He's a real chatty person. Nice guy.

unless you have an aftermarket intake, those injectors will not be long enough to fit the tpi setup. You will either need our adapter or a double oring set up.

SB, I have a double o ring setup. Will the injectors fit inside my Edelbrock hi flow tpi intake?

Re: New Bosch III Injectors.... ?'s
No they will sit too high. You do not need the extra oring. The oring that is above the bottom oring can just be snipped off. You just need the standard length bosch lll
