new build ideas tell me wat you thing need some direction.
ok so i have got some plans but i want some other' s point of views.
my end goal is to get as close to 400 rwhp as possible with atleast 450 ft lbs of tq, i know that is tough to do. this is my weekend street fun car so drive-ability is a must.
current car is l98 350 9 to 1 vortec heads small cam(about 460lift) roller tip rockers edlebrock base tpis runners twin 58mm TB accel coil cap rotor slp headers, true duel side pipes with 40's and a 6-speed.
build one
Comp cam 08-304-8 cam, full 1.6 RR, port the intake base and tune.
build two
is same as above with a 10.5 to 1 355
build three is same as above with 268XFI HR13 cam and vortec heads made to fit it.
build four
would be a 383 with the 268XFI HR13 and vortec heads.
please let me know what you think is a good idea or waste of time, keep in mind i cant budget in a 2000$ set of heads. i also dont want to go building a 355 or 383 and should have not used the vortec heads and did.
i know e-tecs are reasonable and support the vortec base and pro comp has a set and a few others.
thanks guys
