Re: Fuel rail identification 0446 HUZ

There should be a 170XXXXX number on one of the fuel rails for identification

not sure how you are adapting your pressure gauge but the schrader valve fitting is an -4

Why?
The thread on the schraeder valve where you install the gauge
is the same -4 AN on all TPI (inc Vette)

Easiest to install one of these -4AN gauge adapters (requires -4 cap to seal open end)
Russell #670290 or similar
R/R without removing the plenum ( unlike the 90 degree adapters )
and mounts any gauge with 1/8" NPT at right angles

Re: Fuel rail identification 0446 HUZ

I was looking in the street and performance book and they list one[fuel pressure gauge] for a 85/89 and another for 90/92. It looks like it mounts on the schraeder valve so I thought maybe there were different size for the different years. Thanks again Steve

I think on the 90-92 map there was a optional bracket used to make the gauge mounting more stable.

That sounds likely. I might call S&P and ask if there is any thing else with there mounting. Have you or anyone else you know ever tried one of the air foils they make for the throttle bodies. Was thinking about one of those also .
