NEED HELP!!!!

Okay so here it is im stumped and need help bad!!! one day turned the car on drove it to my friends house to work on it and shut it off. turned it on again and the battery was dead (need a new alternator) so i hooked up a battery charger started up it was fine. turned it off. tightened up the ninth injector(cold start injector) fuel line at the back of the rail. started it and it idled really high like 1500-2000 rpm so i shut it off. than i went to start it up again and it goes to start but just wont go it trys really hard but just wont go. it starts on starter fluid. put 4 gallons of gas in it cause it was empty(or atleast i thought it was). and now it just wont start. i replaced the fuel relay and it still wont do anything. i would like to know if its my fuel pump or regulator. really dont wanna change a fuel pump so im hoping its not that lol

Re: NEED HELP!!!!

X2...and don't just push down on the schrader valve trying to guess how much pressure is there, use a gauge.

Can you hear the pump running?

When was the fuel filter last changed?

Please tell us what kind of car under your personal info.

Hope this helps.
