305 TPI IAC issue?
Hey guys,
At the most random times my 91 Trans Am with a speed density LB9 refuses to idle properly. Sometimes the car will go a week or so without issues, sometimes it'll happen for a couple days straight.
What happens is that sometimes when I'd go start the car, it'll only start if I give it some gas and will refuse to idle properly on its own. Sometimes it will start stumbling at idle and drop to really low rpms. Occasionally it'll stay idling very poorly; sometimes it'll just stall completely (but WILL restart if I keep my foot on the gas). The problem usually gradually goes away after driving for a little while. However regardless, throttle response is the same and the engine runs perfectly fine at anything above idle and the SES light hasn't come on at all. Thoughts? Thanks!
