motors????
ok i have a 85 z28 withthe 305 tpi, and it runs like dump lol, plus 305s suck so i was wondering what would be the best replacement for that motor in a reasonable price range. ive been looking at the 260&290 hp crate 350s jegs have but they can be pricy

The 305 really wasn't such a bad motor with TPI on it...... might wanna try and solving some of it's current problems, as opposed to spending large amounts of money on a new motor, with will also lead to other expenses..... (like getting the ECM programmed to run the new motor......)

fix the problems first. If you don't fix the problems, you'll just have the same issues with the new 350. new engines aren't magic, they'll run like crap like the old one if there are problems...
