Fuel Line Check Valve?

I know that fuel pump is causing my drop in fuel pressure. I ran the pump to 50 psi and clamped the feed line shut and it held the pressure.

I was wondering if I can put a check valve in-line to hold the pressure so it will start a little easier, or if I shouldn't worry about it.

Thanks

Re: Fuel Line Check Valve?

If your fuel pressure is holding this the supply primed the fpr is in good condition you maybe sucking some are in the pump body or the pulsator with most people bypass with a straight hose when the fuel pump is replaced.
