My Trickflow Heads
I just found out from Dr. J's Performance after the porting and the larger 2.05 intake valves installed the the heads now flows 308int @ .600 and 238exh @ .600. Before the porting they were 270int @600 and 208exh @ .600.

Re: My Trickflow Heads
Very nice. Your reworked heads now outflow my latest heads and on the same flow bench. Theoretically the new airflow has the potential to make over 50 more horsepower at the crank. Maybe the choke point has now moved to your intake system? Has he milled you heads? By the way the key now is how do you utilize the new air flow.

Re: My Trickflow Heads
The next dyno day should be very interesting.
What is the flow rate of a stock Mini-Ram? I bet it is less than what your heads flow. You need something that flows around 320cfm to take advantage of those heads.

Re: My Trickflow Heads
My friend ran the old 1204 port version on a set of 1205 ported AFR's that flowed 308cfm as well by .600. 208cc intake volume. On a 406 it supported 468whp running lean. This is a mid high 10 second all motor combo. After leaned out, it picked up almost 2 mph at the track so I'm thinking 20-25hp gained there so somewhere in the 480's whp range with a 1204 port miniram? 1205 ported single plane picked up another 2-2.5mph and made 521whp
280 xfi will go 6500 rpm no doubt on those heads and those cubes. Surprised the old setup didnt see over 6100 rpm peaks. It should make power increases but then again that cam only seems to put out 400-420's whp on most motors i've seen it used. I think it needs a tighter LSA and more lift

Re: My Trickflow Heads
Full job should be up there 800-1000+ depending on how extensive. A bit of bowl work/blending seats and stuff should only be a couple hundred bucks but wont get all the flow gains that the full job will.
I dont see a point in 175's on a 350 motor. The 195's are not that big and really are about right for a 350 sized motor. Smaller motors can use the 175's and thats what they were made for.

195's for sure as a start. Depending on what intake manifold. Higher rpms you can use more head.

Re: My Trickflow Heads
I figured the trick flow one, but if the edelbrock ones will fit should I use one of those? I want to keep a stock height hood and I dont want to have to lower the engine.

Re: My Trickflow Heads
Hey Vincent, did u pick ur heads up yet? I saw them completed and sitting on the bench a couple weeks ago when I stopped thru there to talk to Bryce about my flow numbers. Was gonna send u a pic and tell u I was taking them back home with me.... But decided against it. They looked pretty Damn nice. I'm guessing my Brodix heads just aren't up to the task of putting 375-400 down on my car... Lil bummed..haha. still looking into some things tho.

Re: My Trickflow Heads
The old flow machine has the data stored in its hard drive. He hasn't been able to retrieve it since that machine ran on Windows 2000. So I'm waiting for him to download that data onto his new setup. Hopefully in the nxt 2 or 3 weeks, ill know something.
