New to site

Hey guys im new to this site and to tpi motors i recently traded a 4-wheeler for a 1998 s-10 with a tuned port motor in it can not get running was wondering if anyone had some ideas it has a painless wiring harness has fuel spark checked timing only thing i get is a great big bang out of the tailpipe once in awhile any help would be awesome

Welcome Aboard!

Are plugs clean, gapped, and dry? (Dry is critical.)

Are injectors pulsing?

If you have fuel and spark at the proper time, the only thing left is air and compression, and at least a few of the cylinders should be pumping air unless the valve timing is awry.

Yes plugs are dry gapped and the injectors are pulsing i have the test kit from snap on it has good spark bought the truck without intake on it and it has peremitor bolt valve covers not center bolt was told these engines only had center bolt heads could this be the problem thanks
