Valve cover orientation....

Valve cover orientation....

...after looking around at different TPI engine bay pics I noticed different valve cover orientations...

Meaning.... on mine, 92' 350, the DS has the oil fill cap up front and the PCV towards the firewall, on the PS the vent tube is up front.

Ive seen several pics where the PCV and oil fill cap are switched up. Could be different years I guess, and I dont see how it would hurt...

...so is there a right/wrong way?

Depends on the year of the car as to how they are set up. Early TPIs have the oil fill to the rear and newer ( guessing here,90-92?) cars have it close to the front of the motor.

I "think" it changed around the time the cars went to SD.
