Edelbrock 3860: worth the cost?

I have a chance to pick up a cheap Edelbrock 3860 manifold. If this is the only mod I were to make to my TPI intake, would it be worth doing- I know the heads are a chokepoint on these engines too-? What if I gasket matched and extrude honed it? What improvement if any would I be likely to see?

Probably won't notice much improvement with just this one part.

Yes you will feel a difference.
But I would buy large tube runners and port your upper plenum to maximize your gain

And then while your in there you might as well replace your injectors

But yes the baseplate is important for making power with tpi and you will feel a difference
