mallory comp c9000 distributor?

Can I use a mallory comp c9000 distributor part number 9148201? I've been looking on the net and in auto part stores all day and can't find the answer. The web sites that I've seen say chevy v8 1986-1993 but after getting it home the plug is different, the one one the car is a 4 prong, the one on the distributor is a 3 prong. Pls. Help.

Not if you want a computer controlled dist compatable with EFI and the factory ECM

The 3 pin plug is to connect to the Mallory CDI box for carb apps
