91 TPI ecu tuning (basics)
okay I may be barking up the wrong tree here but I was looking for info on tuning of the "late model ecu" I have been told it is possible on the 90-92 models, but there is so many post in the tuning section everyone skips the basics. so starting from scratch what would I need to do the tuning how is it done and so on. Also I was wondering what all would require tuning of the ecu? I currently have the stock ecu for my car, but somewhere down the line a 5.7 replaced the original 5.0 the intake is from the 5.0 (assuming from the grey injectors) The car already has and aftermarket exhaust from the y pipe back,I have already preformed the egr/air delete and will be here shortly installing a new set of headers (keeping the O2 set up). After awhile on the high way I do get a code complaining about the egr, I could live with it if I had too. I would like to put a new cam in it (please correct me if I am wrong but would a cam effect the operation of the fuel delivery?). Then the fallowing race season(different block actually) bore it out and stroke it. any help is appreciated
