Losing pressure, inline check valve??

Hey guys. I have replaced my fuel pump in the tank on my 86 355 TPI Camaro twice in the last couple years, and am losing pressure again in the pump or pulsator in the tank. I really don't want to pull it again!! I was looking into putting a check valve inline somewhere. Maybe at the flex lines, or the lines coming out of the pump. Has anyone done this?? Any ideas on ways to adapt my fitting to AN to make this work?? I have found a check valve in summit that has -6 AN fittings. Any ideas would be much appreciated!
Thanks!

The pulsators are junk. its better to use a piece of fuel resistant hose in its place.

Yeah, that's what I've been reading, I might do that, I was hoping to avoid pulling the tank, but maybe I'll have to! Any thoughts on an inline check valve?

What is the pulsator? I am running out of fuel on my 91 tpi after flooring it several times in a row. At least that is the way it acts.

The fuel pump dampener purpose is for sound dampening noise to quiet the fuel pump noise from being transferred into the fuel hard lines.
