200r4 tv cable on tuned port

Howdy, gents. Was wondering if I need a geometry correcting bracket for a 1988 TPI unit like the one I had to get for my Speed Demon carb. I am guessing no due to the fact that 7004R's came in these cars from the factory and its basically the same system. Am I right? Thanks.

The TPI TB has the correct hookup for a 200 or 700 TV cable

I assume that means that the throttle linkage has the correct amount of "pull" and at the right rate given any point in the arc of its movement for proper TV cable function.

The TV cable mounting bracket and the linkage give the correct pull;
assuming you are using a TPI cable, not one from a TBI or carb setup

Perfect. I kind of figured it was good to go but when its so easy to fry a 200r4 or 7004R with an improperly set up TV cable, better safe than sorry.
Thanks.
