Engine: 5.7 350 tpi
Transmission: 700r4 i think
Parts?
Hey I'm about to replace my sending unit and fuel pump in my 89 formula tpi350 does the part make a difference I've been told yes and no. So if yes who should I by from I've seen cheap spectra premium on line and Chevy wanted like 800 for their parts I don't want a bad part but I can afford to waist money any suggestions would be awesome thanks

Is the sending unit bad? gas gauge not working? car sitting for a long time and its rusty??

The gauge is accurate but it's been sitting out of a garage for like 5 months and I know it's seen some snow so I figured I'd rip it out while I was down there
