OEM mass air flow meter $1000

ok,im on my 7th mass airflow meter from auto zone.some new ,some rebuilt.same deal, sooner than later, a code 34 will appear .and the car wont run till I unplug it. I am using the FSM trouble tree and the only thing failing is the meter.where do you guys get your MAFs at?? everything checks out otherwise.and it runs beautifully when the light is off ,which hasn't been much lately.the ONLY code stored is 34. could I be overlooking something ?? any ideas??

Seems odd to have that many failures. You may have other issues causing that but not sure what? At this point i would talk to tequilaboy and look at going ls1 maf or similar with modded chip code and signal converter or going speed density

Go to a normal parts store, my t/a took a Bosch MAF, which was $600 (used in vettes), i paid for it at a reputable store and havent had a problem in about 60k miles

I got a starter from them once, long story short, after 3 start ups, it never worked again, so i went to napa, and that one is still in it
