vacuum line
Well I got my new Bosch III injectors in today. But when I was done I was checking out the vacuum lines and notices the one that comes from under the plenum and over the valve cover and behind the ac evaporator can isn't connected to anything or it came off of somewhere. Does anyone know if this is just a vent line or if not where its supposed to connect to. Thanks for any info.

Re: vacuum line
Might be the one that goes to the heater valve ?
Under plenum one goes to egr solenoid down under the coil.
I put bosch 3's inn last week also, car runs as smooth as silk now.
Where you at in NJ ?

Where's the heater valve located. Mine should be same as yours considering its an 89 5.7. I just can't believe it came off somewhere that easily. I wasn't yanking on it or anything. The line used to have a little piece of black tape holding it to another line right by the coil. Can you snap a pic. I'm located in Howell. Where are you at.

Re: vacuum line
ok figured it out after looking at the emission picture under the hood. It was the line that goes to the bottom of the throttle body. I must have pushed it out of the way when I was taking everything apart and just forgot about it. At least it was an easy thing to take care of.

Hey I'm down in Franklinville (Glou Co).
They make vac line couplings / splicers - at Pep Boys in the help section stuff.
Just a pc of hose slides over the outside.

Yeah your way south. Im up in Monmouth. I just had to fish that line back under the plenum and connect it to the throttle body, so it was an easy thing to take care of.
