04 5.3 with tpi setup?
can i put my TPI setup on a 04 5.3 and use my SD harness and ecm
i have been given a 5.3 that needs to we reworked outta a 04 z71
i dont need people to tell me that just go with the ls set up i dont have the money for the wiring/computer ty

ok so i know i wanna get the 305 outta here but i dont have the money to go ls and i would like to go with the flow of the vortec heads best way to go about it i was thinking a 96-2000 vortec 5.7 block with a lt4 hotcam port the heads get the slp runners port them aswell with the vortec intake am i wrong

You cannot use any of your TPI Gen 1 stuff on the motor you got.
The truck intake is real good for the street they make good torque. They already have long runners....which actually move some air! Flip your intake upside down and take a look at them
Some headwork, headers tune and a mild cam (even a used z06 cam) will really wake it up

Porting vortecs-better really know youre stuff or youll go backwards every time. It can be done but not for the person just learning
