Ok so heres probably a really stupid question im wondering if I can install a single k&n air filter .... the oval one .. ive seen it done before but im not sure why nobody does it anymore. I have an 88 but its an 87 motor I was told I cant do that because of the speed density system that is on this engine but I thought that was the 90-92 cars .......thanks guys

 

if you have a speed density sensor, then yes you can do it. if you have a MAF sensor then no you cannot do it
