Car wont immediately start?? (Also dies in corners/stopping)
Got an issue that isnt a huge deal it just bothers me..
Whenever i try to start the car (cold or warm) it always takes several turns to fire up. Usually i hit the key, turn it over a few times, key off then turn over a few more times and fire up strong. Doesnt matter if its been parked a week, or I just cut it off.
Another thing I cant seem to find any clear answer on is every time i make a fast stop, or hang a sharp curve hard the engine dies. I did the fuel pump right, over 3/4 tank of gas..
No CEL, runs great, Plenty of power
New plugs, wires, distributor, pick up, ICM, cap, rotor, fuel pump, no vacuum leaks, timing dead on. Fuel pressure checked out. Has a BBK AFPR, and a SLP catback installed by previous owner..
Thanks!

Does the fuel pump run for the 2 seconds at key-on, engine-off? Make sure that it does. As it sounds as through it isn't and the oil pressure switch is running the fuel pump.
Also, make sure that the oil level is OK. As if the oil pressure switch is running the fuel pump, and it cuts off on a hard stop or corner, may be loosing oil pressure. I've also seen this when the oil pump pickup falls off the pump.

The fuel pump does prime and the fuel pump relay clicks as it should.
The oil is right on full (fresh change), i havnt noticed oil pressure dropping in turns but Ill keep that in mind. Id assume if the oil pressure dropped enough to kill the engine that a low oil pressure light of some sort would have come on.
