Injector Issues

I have an 89 IROC-Z that has been well maintained since 35,000 miles as the second owner. Its on its 4th set of injectors thus far at 75,000 miles. Whats going on? I couldnt tell you the maker of injectors I have put in so far. but they are going out again! Anyone have the same issues with this year and 350 engine?

Re: Injector Issues

The stock multech or aftermarket multech style injectors are not very good(although I am sure they were state of the art back in the day.

Contact Southbay fuel injectors and get the Bosch replacements they offer. These are far superior to the stock style, and you will be suprised at how economical they are.

Multechs are generally not long lasting, and are inefficient compared with what you can gt today. Bosch IIIs are smaller, better looking, and are literally plug and play, plus your gas mileage should improve a bit. I've had mine for awhile and run it everyday with no issues to speak of.
