Rough idle and then stalls
I rebuilt the top end of my '86 TPI and finally adjusted the ignition.
It seems to start just fine but the idling is rough, throttle response is very poor and slowly the idle just dies out and the engine stalls.
What's interesting is that the RPM meter goes crazy and shows inaccurate readings.
I'm sort of wondering if this could be a distributor problem since that's the part that I've played with the most.. and there's a tach wire that I had to remove many times when playing with the ignition.
Everything was just fine a few days ago when the ignition wasn't adjusted so I doubt this is a TPS problem or something like that. Back then the car could barely start but at least the throttle response + RPM meter were okay.
