L98 tpi 89 vs 91
Hi.
I own a -91 corvette 6spd L98.
Long story short, the engine is blown.
And now I found a good, used Corvette L98 1989 automatic used engine from the scrapheap.
I know my 1991 engine use MAP, and this 1989 is MAF.
Using my 1991 parts I should be abel to put this 1989 engine in my car right?
Anything specia I need to keep in mind?
Thanks

Just put the 91 plenum on the 89 intake and reuse all your existing stuff
If you don't want to pull the intakes apart then you will need to remote mount the 91 MAP sensor somewhere close and run a hose to it
as the 89 plenum has no provision for fitting it
