Hi
Looking to replace my egr valve . I see the acdelco egr valve is discontinued and can't be found anywhere. So I'm looking at the aftermarket line. Does anyone have a preference as to which brand to look for ? I was looking at the standard motors product one on rockauto they list 2 others aswell but I have no clue. Any help would be appreciated as I want a quality part and only do the job once. Deleting the emissions is not an option as I need to pass smog. 89 Trans am 5.7

Has anyone used the standard motor products egr valve part number EGV-393 to replace their orginal Gm part number 17113483 and ac delco number 214-5562 ? If anyone has a Gm or ac delco one new in the box they want to sell I'd be interested.

I actually just bought an ac delco get valve from Amazon. It has a new part number.

Thanks. I did try GM parts direct. I called last week and was told that they only accept US credit cards or US paypal. I'm in Canada.
