GTA 5.7 injectors
got a 1989 GTA, 5.7 tpi with procharger supercharger
had running issues since fitting accel injectors (yes, I now know they are not the ultimate)
what ib/rate injectors would you recommend? car is used for fast road and normal driving so don't want over fueling issues but don't want lean running
thanks John (from UK)

Some of its guessing unless you know every single detail about the engine. Forced induction engines need more injector than a N/A engine at the same power level.
L98 = 22LB/hr = 245hp
LT1 = 24LB/hr = 285hp
LS1 = 28LB/Hr = 350hp (Late corvette rating)
I'm running 31LB/hr injectors and should be making about 420whp.
Regardless of what you choose, the ECM must be programed for the corrected flow rate (LB/HR @ xPSI) An injector rated 30# @ 43psi will flow more fuel @ 50psi. Making the Injector Constant in the ECM incorrect.

Re: GTA 5.7 injectors
not easy to get a trans am ecu reprogrammed over here
could I get away with 24ib injectors without reset?

No.
You'll have to get into programming yourself, there are options in the DIY and tuning forums.
Even if you ran higher fuel pressure to increase the effective flow rate of a 24# injector, you'd need to program the ECM to read that. Anything less will just make for a poorly running car.

Re: GTA 5.7 injectors
so best to go for standard 22ib injectors?
the car is fitted with adjustable fuel pressure regulator that came with the procharger
that increases fuel pressure on boost only which can be set to keep air/fuel ratio correct

Re: GTA 5.7 injectors
Those work, but are a bandaid as far as fueling goes. Tons of people have used the rising rate regulators though.
