Car: 1986 Trans AM WS6
Engine: 383 Vortec TPI, PUTS SMILES ON FACE
Transmission: PATC LVL 3 Raptor Transmission
Axle/Gears: 3.27 POSI 9 BOLT
valve lash
On a 86 305 tpi... I need to do my valve lashing... I want to do it with the engine off... Am still kinda new to valve lashing. Can some one who is experienced in this subject please explains to me the steps.

Do I go a 1/4 turn after I hit 0 lash

I have always used a half turn past zero lash and have never had problems with stock or aftermarket cams.
