83 Z28 conversion from Carb to TPI
I have began converting my 83 Z28 from Carb to TPI. My original plan was to buy a Powerjection III for the conversion to EFI. After reading too many threads on here, I considered TPI. Then I found a complete TPI setup with harness, 7730 ECM, manifold, injectors and sensors, distributor, etc..... on Craigslist. I was a great deal for $200 so I was off and running. A few weeks later I decided to go with needed EBL P4 flash, new injectors from SouthBay, ProComp manifold and fuel rails, new sensors, LS1 tank, new fuel lines......... The project keeps growing.
So far I have the tank, fuel lines installed. I had to take apart the LS1 tank regulator to allow an adjustable fuel regulator as well as installing the 0-90 sendor. Thanks to TGO for all the information getting this far. Now I am working on wiring the fuel pump and getting the ECM in position. This project has turned into much more than expected.

Proper prior planning and focus prevent out of control projects. But don't feel too bad, happens to everybody at least once.
"As long as I'm in this far I might as well....." is the root cause of many empty checkbooks and maxed out cards.
Most of the stuff you've listed is expected or at least not surprising, but IMO you kinda went off the rails with the manifold and rails.

Re: 83 Z28 conversion from Carb to TPI
I am have not been able to save changes to the injector correction values in the bin file. I insert the change save, click save, then click save bin. When I open the bin again the changes are gone. Am I missing something? I am using EBL_P4_3006.bin file and EBL_P4_V12_ADV.XDF file with TunerPro. Any suggestions?
