Code 34

So I have had a code 34 for a while, since I replaced a physically damaged MAF sensor

Recently I have been chasing a no power, bogging, run like poop issue, long story short, my FPR started leaking, was replaced with an AC Delco one, stopped gas leaking into plenum but car ran like crap

I replaced that POS FPR with an adjustable one from southbay, got pressure at 40 PSI while running now, should be higher? But the weird thing is my code 34 is gone, cant reproduce it like i could b4 by holding RPM above 2000 for about 10 seconds

Does this make sense, low gas pressure was causing me a code 34?

Re: Code 34

It sounds very coincidental. There should not be any relationship between fuel pressure and the ECMs diagnosis of a MAF out of range. However, during the course of the other repairs something may have been moved or changed that inadvertently affected air flow or the MAF circuit. If a vacuum leak was somehow repaired or wire harness was disturbed either of those might explain the mysterious repair of the MAF circuit problem.
