I think I made a Mistake, need HELP!
Ok, I put my Edelbrock HI-FLO base and SLP runners on without porting them.
1. Is this going to make a big difference in performance?
2. Should I take them off and big mouth gasket port?
3. Where are there DETAILED instructions on how to do this the right way?
4. How difficult is it to polish this equipment to a shine?
Thank you for help on this.....

ok #1 Yes you should notice a nice differece. The stock manifold and runners were made for a 305 you have a 350.
#2 Its deffinately not gonna hurt if you do. But the question is. Do you wanna go though all that hasle again to take off the intake?
#3 I was wandering the exact same thing when I did mine the first time.
#4 Its gonna take some time to polish. There are a lot of little corners you gotta get to on the intake.
Hope this helps a little!! Later Barrett

1) the Edlebrock Hi-Po manifold ports are the same size as the stock base. I have one, and I noticed it.
2) if you have the time, I would. I (personally) spent 10 hours on my manifold.
3) my friend taught me
4) It's easy.. just patience, and the right tools.. I used a die grinder with an aluminum cutting bit, and a 120-150 grit flapper wheel to polish
