runs like crap

just put a new 350 into my 89 iroc, it runs like **** at certin rpms the car will start jerking and hesitate. the only code i get is the the TPS has low voltage. whats the OEM setting for that and could it be any thing else like the fuel pump. thanks

.54v at idle, 4.0v at WOT.. could be many things, but just start with the most obvious first. Try going from closed to WOT with a voltmeter hooked up and see if the tps makes a smooth transition, if not replace it. Good luck.

Yeah.. try the PS first, unless you like dropping the rear end to get the tank out of the car

well i replaced the tps and the distributor cap and rotor and now the dam thing won't start. it fires up but then it dies right after and i don't know what the hell to do.

Things just happen like that, huh? Make sure all of the wires are on correctly and the tps is adjusted correctly. Has to be one of those things if thats all you touched
