building SBC 305 Engine? Need HELP w/Performance mod's

I want between 350-400hp, kinda wanna keep it a TPI, to save money, working on thin budget. Motor has been sitting 13 yrs with only 80,000 orig 1 owner miles. Car stalled out and never started back up. Want to bore it out .60 over , what size will it be after I do that. Can I get the same kind of power out of a 305 as a 350 or close to it. Either wanna get corvette heads, idk what year will be best for my block and power. Or scorpion 190cc alum heads, I want accel larger injectors not sure on size, larger fuel pump that will fit in stock tank, bbk throttle body, performance oil pump, and waterpump, msd wires and coil, ss long tube headers and y pipe with flowmaster muffler. And most of all a stage 2 or 3 cam, 444/466 or 488/509 maybe? Trans is a stock 700r4, should I install a shift kit and a corvette servo, maybe change the torque converter to a lower stall idk, deff wanna install stage 2 jet chip, k&n filter and alum pulleys and such, how can I pull more out of that block the cheap way besides boring it.Need suggestions on head's, Cam and distributor and fuel pump mostly. Thanks

Hate to be that guy, but using the search function would be a HUGE help for you. Here's a search with 305 in the title only that will get you started.

It takes a lot of money and/or skilled machine work to get 400 HP out of a 305. Plus it requires you to rev it up past the RPM capability of the stock type TPI intakes. It's relatively easy to get 350-400hp from a 350 TPI.

You bore a 305 .60 over and you will probably have overheating problems You will also spend a lot of $ trying to get upwards of 400HP. Get a 350 and you can do that for a lot less.

Rebuild it and buy a blower kit. Thats the only way you are gonna make the power on tpi

Working within a "thin budjet",,,350-400hp aint happenin with a 305,unless you don't mind spraying the guts out of it..When it blows you can start fresh with a 4in block.....
