L98 MAF to Map now won't run
I used a donor 86 corvette in a street rod. Car ran fine until I went fro MAF to map? I tried an ecm from 92 Camaro with AUJP prom and Engine fires but dies after a couple of seconds like someone shut the key off.

I was led to believe the ecm didn't have vats but after searching around that's probably not true. I will send the ecm off and have the vats removed. Any suggestions where to send it. I'm thinking Brendan Patten.

If the engine starts at all vats is bypasses either with a resistor in conjunction with the pass key module. A hz modulator feeding the ecm a 30-50hz signal or in Memcal reprogramming.
If you are going to get the Memcal reprogrammed the sa could stand to be changed for the 128 heads. Start with the basics to diagnose your issue noid light for loss of injector pulse.
Spark tester and fuel pressure tester. Sounds like you have fp prime but that the ops is not closing to continue pump running. You can jumper the orange to grey wire at the ops to bypass it for testing.
