vortec TPI OBDII

Ok so here is my idea i have a 92 rs with a 305 TBI i am thinking about swaping in an L31 vortec long block with front crank sensor and using a vortec distributor on the TPI intake and using a 0411 ECM to run it
has anyone actually done this and does the vortec distributor fit the TPI and clear the plenum

thanks
George

Re: vortec TPI OBDII

efi connections does that, but they only use the distributor for a cam position and use coil per cylinder. There's a sticky on this forum about it.

I swapped this setup onto a 1994 G10 van using the Vortec Black Box. Plenty of room using the Vortec distributor and cap. Remember some of the TPIs had even larger large cap HEIs on them
