Fuel rail questions

87 TPI fuel rail. I'm changing the o-rings and painting/polishing the fuel rail. I've got the laft side rail off. I know the regulator housing comes off. On the right hand side, where the fuel line goes into the end of the rail, does it come apart there? Is there an o-ring in there? The one in question is on the same side as the housing connects to the fuel rail.

I wouldn't mind know the answer to this too since I'll be taking mine out in a couple weeks.

Relating this question to LT1 fuel rail as well...

I was wondering the same thing today as I was polishing up my new LT1 rails. I was wanting to go thru the rails while I had them off to replace o-rings, improve appearance, etc. After taking them all apart, the left fuel rail had tubing going into it that could be twisted but would not come out. It looks like it was pressed in or something. How does the line come out of there to replace the o-ring???

No, on both the LT1 AND the TPI fuel rails, the feed line (both types) is 'swaged' in, a kinda of pressed into placed and crimped. Can't take em off guys. HTH.
