Engine won't stay running

I have a built '89 355 TPI full roller, edelbrock heads, high flow runners and intake. It starts up but runs at a high rpm for about 30 seconds then shuts off. Checked for vacuum leaks and didn't find any. Even if it is a vacuum leak it shouldn't just shut off.

I have a stock one and a couple custom tuned ones. Also have the one that was in the car the engine came out of but that one is setup for manual and mines an automatic

Checked all of that. It runs at about 2800 rpm for about 20 seconds at the most then shuts off. Thinking maybe vats. Someone said The fuel pressure circuit runs threw the oil pressure sender and if thats bad it may do that.

Re: Engine won't stay running

With the idle that high it has to be a vacuum leak or possibly low fuel pressure.
