I tried searching, couldn't find the answer:

I have '87 TPI system on 305 w/ centerbolt heads, should the base fit an older SBC, or do I need an 85-86 base?

To use it you have to modify the intake base, the center 4 bolt holes are at a slightly different angle. I've done it with both early and late TPI manifolds, although with a nice machine. I hear it can be done with a drill easily.
