I know this has been talked about but I can't seem to find the part number. I just got a 1987 GTA with the 5.7 TPI.

The previous owner put Hedman headers on the engine but never put the infamous bracket back on.

Can someone tell me the GM part number for this so I can get one and modify it?

Or if there is an aftermarket bracket specifically for this?

There is nothing special about the A/C and PS brackets in 87. They're the same as any 82-87 V8 with A/C.



Bracket #7 in the diagram has to have the rear ear cut off where it would interfere with the exhaust on cyl #1.

I bought the one from ebay. I could see no difference between a bracket from a TPI and a carbed engine. If I have to drill a new hole or cut off a little more no big deal.
