Replacement ECM options

So I am now battling the dreaded high/rough idle issue with my TPI.

I have changed everything except three things:

1. ECM
2. TPS (coming)
3. Valve stem seals (coming)

All other sensors, gaskets, parts have been changed including MAF, injectors, and timing chain set.

I have not fully eliminated fuel pressure as a culprit but running at anything more than idle, the car runs nicely so I am not thinking its a fuel pressure problem, but I will check anyway.
Vacuum at idle is 24 inches.

The timing chain set made a huge difference (my OEM set was really loose).

The car runs smoothly now and feels close to new with the exception of the idle which still stays high and misses after it warms up. Cold, the car runs smooth, period (but still idles around 1,500 in neutral and 1,000 in D.)

I am probably just going to finish blowing my initial budget to hell and just replace the ECM and TPS even though they aren't directly showing bad.

The valve seals need replacing (No. 2 plug fouls fairly quickly).

What are my options for a replacement ECM or aftermarket ECM system?

I see the Cardone units, in fact my car already has one but again, I don't know when it was installed. Car has 117,000 on it and so far, most parts I have replaced appear to be the original parts.

Re: Replacement ECM options

No need for an aftermarket setup . I think haltech makes a plug and play setup for your application. Going to speed density Holley, dynamic efi, mega squirt , accel .

Re: Replacement ECM options

Okay, I will work with what I have. I ordered a complete used 1227165 on eBay from a reputable seller, complete with ABUS 8534 PROM. Seller said it was taken out of a running car. I can also get a rebuilt Cardone at O'Reilly for the same price but I have to move my PROM over. For some reason I feel like I should try a known good factory ECM before a rebuilt one.
