Hesitation and Stall

Hesitation and Stall
I have two issues.
1. When I accelerate the rpms initially drop before rising. It acts like it is wanting to stall but after that runs fine.
2. Car just started idling up and down back and forth. Cranks very easy but as soon as I put it in gear it stalls.
Engine was just replaced 5.0tpi all stock. The MAP sensor is new, the TPS reading are correct, fuel pump was just replaced.
Someone told me that these cars were originally MAF and recalled by GM to MAP. Is that true for the 92 or did it come from the factory with MAP? They are recommending that I replace my EPROM.
I know someone in here has had to of had the same issues.
