Tips on tracking down misfires?

1988 305 tpi, new fuel pump, distributor cap and rotor, wires and plugs changed 3 months ago but that was before the crappy leaky injectors got replaced. Anyone have tips on narrowing down misfires.? P.S. ignition coil checked out with multimeter. But i did not test pick up coil. Thanks......

Start pulling plug wires or injector connectors to narrow it down to a cylinder.

Can you do a compression check?
Cut fuel to the pump, turn key, listen for bad compression

Re: Tips on tracking down misfires?

Insulated spark plug pliers are nice. Car running at idle and pull wires one by one. If you pull one and notice no stumble or hesitation that cylinder is missing.
