1988 Piston Specs
Anybody know where I can find the piston dish volume specs for the 88 firebird? What was different with the 88 firebird engine that it was rated at 225 and the 89 firebird and 88/89 camaro engines were rated at 230 hp?

The 88 piston dish volume is listed as 8.9 whereas the 89 is listed at 8.87 and I was told this was a typo and was trying to figure out if this was the case or not. I was trying to find a source outside of NHRA that might would have the specs of the pistons.

Camaros had a lil more HP due to better airflow. Also I'm pretty sure 89 got a hotter Corvette spec can. The 049 cam
