Holley AFPR

Does anyone have the Holley AFPR? I'm undecided between 3 brands (Holley, Crane, Accel) but Holley is looking to be the one that I want. Can anyone offer an opinion on this?

Thanks...

I have never heard of anyone have a problem with the Holley. Its a little bit more expesive than the others, but I have heard its worth the extra cost. I have a Crane right now and I dont like it. Its just to hard to adjust.

I just got one over Christmas. I haven't put it in yet though. It has a big dial on top instead of a little bolt so it should be easy to adjust. It comes with a new spring and diaphram too.

I've been running a Holley AFPR all 2001 season and have no complaints. Over 11 visits to the dragstrip averaging ~6 runs each time, 2 days at Pocono Raceway for road course racing, 1 day at Nazareth Speedway, 1 day at Lime Rock, 2 days at Memphis Motorsports Park. The car was driven to all these, no trailering. If it was prone to failure, it would have happened. The pressure setting stayed rock-steady at 48psi.

I like the serrated "hat" that adjusts bare-handed with no tools, I like the double-spring and 2-layer diaphragm.

I don't like that it didn't include a safety-torx bit to remove/install the thing, had to go to Pep Boys and spend another $9 buying a whole set.

The Holley is a great piece. Very easy to adjust, no tools, just reach under the plenum and adj. with 2 fingers. Had the TPIS unit before, its a POS.
The packaging of the Holley could be better, shipped with all the inside parts loose and the diaphram was folded because of it, luckily no damage though.

Thanks guys, that's the kinda info I wanted to hear. I've placed my order for it along with the Accel fuel rail gauge.
